MANAGER, SECURITIES – FIXED TERM CONTRACT

The Financial Services Commission (FSC) is Jamaica’s integrated supervisor and regulator for non-deposit-taking financial services. Its mandate includes the regulation and supervision of the securities, insurance, private pensions, and trust and corporate services provider industries. Through licensing, monitoring, oversight, enforcement, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of sound governance and risk-management practices, the FSC works to protect consumers, strengthen market integrity, and support confidence, stability, and orderly development within Jamaica’s financial services sector.
WHY JOIN THE FSC?
The FSC is operating at a pivotal moment in Jamaica’s financial sector, with an increased focus on stronger oversight, market confidence, consumer protection and institutional transformation, including greater use of data and technology in supervision and the development of digital and tokenised capital markets. Joining the FSC now offers a supervisory leader the opportunity to contribute to meaningful national impact, strengthen trust in the financial system, and help shape a modern, responsive and respected regulatory institution.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Director, Securities, the Manager leads a team of four Senior Analysts in the risk-based prudential and market conduct supervision of entities licensed under the Securities Act, including securities dealers, investment advisers and managers of collective investment schemes. The focus is on investor protection, the safety of client assets, market integrity and the orderly development of Jamaica’s capital markets. The Manager owns a portfolio of licensees across the full supervisory cycle (risk assessment, supervisory planning, monitoring, intervention and follow-up), contributes to regulatory, legislative and policy reform, and supports the FSC’s transformation agenda, including data-driven supervision and the regulatory framework for digital assets and the tokenisation of capital markets.
